Problem for Keyboards and Mice

Generic problem for all Keyboards and Mice

Multiple letters typing at once

My boss has a Compaq wireless keyboard, and somehow letters in a series are locked together, so that when he types 'a' what appears on the screen is 'asd', '1' results in '123', etc. I can't figure out if this is a Windows command or something on the keyboard itself. Reboot doesn't fix, nor does removing power and batteries from the keyboard to attempt to reset.

This turned out to be a sign that the wireless keyboard itself was failing. I installed a new keyboard, problem fixed!

goto control panel/keyboard and check the character repeat settings.
