If you can print configration from the copier you can see in the network set up if there is restriction in the ip
domain or nt and als; you can run the ping action on the ip from your coputer to see if it reply to your coputer or not
the printer is connected using the network cable through a hub and i have asigned both an ip address.
i got a problem when i connect my pc to canon ir-c 3100 using networks. i try ping from machine to computer and tried computer ping to machine both works well. but when i try to print test page, error message occur. the print keep on error and restart and so all the way
Thanx so much I can ping the copier from my laptop but when i send a job from the Laptop it tells me it cant send.I have used a hub to connect this two.
Please elaborate. Error messages? Network print queue? Who is affected? Some users? Everyone? are you having other network problems?

can you ping the ip address of the copier on your computer??
this will tell you if you can send packets of information to it and it will return a packets back to your computer.
you know how to do this????
if you cant get any info back from that means you have a network issue.
please keep me informed i am a IT tech and a business machine Tech can prob take you through a few things to get it going for you
how is the copier set up on your network??
