Hello sir..or who it may concern........while playing my psp or while going to my home page it suddenly goes to most left and then i cant go anywhere it stays right there.please tell me what to do...

I would suggest restarting the system. Shut down the PSP, remove the battery, let it stand for a minute or so, put the battery back in place, start up the PSP. When the PSP is starting, do NOT touch anything. Moving the control could cause the PSP to assume that moved position is the neutral base position. If this does not fix it, contact Sony directly.

I forgot my password on psp hoe do i reset it

1. Take your Sony Playstation Portable (PSP) and hold the power switch for approximately 10 seconds.

2. After approximately 10 seconds the Sony PSP will shut off. Leave off for 30 seconds.

3. Flip your power button on your Sony PSP once, and in some cases twice. The Sony PSP will start up and should resume normal performance.

Disconnect the power cord / remove battery and hold down the power button.

i can't say i know a whole lot about batteries, but it sounds like you have a defective battery. actually, how long have you had the psp? if more than a year, how did you use it (for example, was it left on the charger all the time, taken off for a while then charged, etc.)? i've had my psp fat since november 05 and just recently i noticed that the battery life was getting way short, about 1 hr for umd and around 30 for browsing the web. if you know anyone else that owns a psp, try borrowing their battery and see if you still have the same problem. if it's fine, obviously you're gonna need to buy a new battery, but if it's still shutting down early, the psp itself is probably defective and for some reason "thinks" that the battery is low. hope that helps and you get the psp back in business!

You might have PSP stop reading UMD discs, First you will do some trouble shooting with what might be wrong with your PSP unit.

first is the Disc Spinning motor. This will not let The disc in the UMD spin. On a working PSP you will hear the disc start to spin up, then you can hear the laser start to twitch, followed by the laser motor moving the laser down the rails.

2nd is something stuck in the UMD gear, try to clean the gear of arm of dust, plastic, soda, and even hair.

and at the last is the actual laser itself. It will not focus the laser to read the UMD disc.

Hopefully this help, Pls post back should you need additional information...!

Faulty psp

This could be a very simple problem. I have seen so many PSP's with this problem. There is something stuck in the gears that move the PSP left to right. Most of the time it is a plastic piece that breaks off the door hinge. If you are good at taking electronics apart, you can do this in 10 minutes.
