Question about Apple iPod MA446LL/A MP3 Player
I bought a faulty Ipod Video 5G, with the fault that shows the support web address. Some people say it was because of the 1.2FW Update. I can't get it into boot disk mode. Is the Firmwear on the main board our is it on the hard drive as i thought if i bought a ZIF external case and replase the firmwear (if thats where it is) with the earlyer version. Do you think this would work or is the harddrive faulty. Also the ipod is saying battery very low all the time , so i thought it might be the battery. Some one told me im better getting an AC charger to charge it then try to boot disk it. ANY IDEAS ?
Start with these five simple solutions: Reset, retry, restart, reinstall, or restore

Connect your 5th Generation iPod Nano to your computer with your iPod cord.
locate your iPod in My Computer(Windows) or the Finder(OSX)
Open the Folder titled DCIM then open the folder titled 000Apple.
open the folder titled 000Apple.
The files ending in .mp4 are your videos. copy and
and paste or drag and drop these files to a folder on your computer.
Thats it! you can now edit and share your iPod videos with your Friends!
The rest of this step is just filler because eHow will not let me publish this article unless it has a certain amount of words in it. So i figured i would just write this long redundant paragraph at the end to satisfy the crazy supercomputer that runs this site instead of making my steps unnecessarily complicated and confusing you guys..
