My phone charger stopped working yesterday. I tripped over the cord while it was charging and somewhat forcibly yanked the phone charger out of the phone to answer a call. Afterwards, the phone charger did not work in the phone. I thought the phone charger was not working, but I brought a new charger today. The new charger does not work either! Could there be something wrong with the valve on the phone itself? What should I do? Is it even worth fixing?

The same thing happened to me. It's probably your charger porter. did you somewhat yank the charger out sometime or did it fall of a table or something and the charger yanked itself out when it fell (if it fell). If that's the problem, try putting the charger in the phone & hold the charger up, worked for me. You could also try a different charger or buy a battery charger like I did. There's the link if of the battery charger if needed. I hope this helps!
Please try using a different charger and battery to check if the is with the device or with the accessories. If the same issue persists even with different charger or a battery, then it might be the issue with the charging port of the device.
mine started doing that soon after i first got it. i didn't think about it being the charger considering it was brand new, so i delt with it until i got a cheap charger from walmart.. it somewhat fixed it for a couple days so i called verizon and they sent me a new phone twice before i finally took it to the nearest store 45 minutes away.. they tested it with the original charger, and that was what the problem turned out to be. the usb cord had messed up and started interfering with the phone.. try getting a new charger from the verizon store and see it if helps. mine has been fixed now but the chargers keep getting shorts in them. i started buying just cheap ones and using them for my regular charging so they don't cost as much to replace and using the one i got from verizon with the usb port to put in my computer when i import/export stuff. i hope this was at least somewhat helpful to your problem.
I would recommend stopping by the shop you bought it at, or a cell phone accessory store. They will usually (more than likely) let you test out a charger, as it could be simply wear and tear on your charger. Doing this will address your problem as it will let you know whether in fact it is the charger, or the phone itself.
Sounds like it could be the charging port, or maybe the cord itself. You could do one of two things for your first move. Go buy a new cord from T-Mobile, I say this because I bought an MP3 player off ebay, and the cord didnt work when it got here, and instead of sending it all the way back to where it came from, and paying shipping charges on that not to mention the waiting for it to get here, I went and bought a new cord, and it worked fine. Your second option is to just contact the seller, tell them it doesnt work, and go through the hassle of having to send it back, and wait for a new one. The choice is really up to you. If you want to make sure it is the cord first, you could take it to T-Mobile and have them test it. Then go from there. Good luck.
Some chargers dont work with this particular model of phone even though they fit. One that works for me is called a I-GO you buy the tip separately from the cord and its a little bit expensive, roughly 40 dollars, but it works lol.
