Question about Astoria Compact CKXE Espresso Machine

Water pump problem

I have an Astoria Compack CKXE automatic espresso machine. Till now, i have almost two years using it daily without any problem. About 1 month ago I observed that the water from the group was less than usual; from then, the water is less and less every day and, by now, some times it dispatch steam only. I never use the hot water dispenser, but when these problems began I tried to use it; some times work correctly and some others not even steam comes out. Plus, the water pump makes a lot more noise than usual, and some times some kind of internal noisy vibration. I have some knowledge about electronics and yesterday opened the machine and removed the water pump; inside of it are two springs, and both of them are worn away and a little loose. My question is, is that the problem? Do I have to change the springs or thw whole water pump? Or maybe neither of them? Thank's a lot...

I would just replace the whole pump. you could rebuild it but they never seem to last that long with a rebuild. espressoparts.com should have them for between 70 and 100 dollars. its been a while since i bought one but i remember them being relatively cheap. do you use a water filter? it will extend the pump life quite a bit

How to fix the wand on the espresso machine, not enough pressure is coming from the wand to steam the milk.

First check the steam wand tip to make sure it is not blocked. If it is clear remove the wand and run it under a faucet to make sure it is not blocked, it water flows freely, then the problem is on the fitting that connects the valve to the boiler, remove fitting and check, if clear check the boiler fitting, use a screwdriver and clear the fitting on top of the boiler.

Hello. No water comes from coffee dosing, the led is blinking (san marino ckxe coffeeemachine), but the pump is working

Remove the shower screen and try again if that does work then the machine is blocked at the top of the group (Big nut on top front) in the metering jet.

When I steam my milk it tastes burnt and there is a strong burning odor.

The boiler needs to be cleaned, it is contaminated with milk. Check the water from the tea spicket, if it smells funny or it is discolored then the boiler is contaminated, if not then the problem is at the steam wand and steam valve.

We have an astoria model SAE.2 for some reasen the machine has gone very quiet and appears to be strugling when re charging after each use

It sounds like the water pump is not doing its thing or the machine cannot get water, either blocked filter or water line.

You'll want to back flush the machine with espresso machine cleaning powder:

Hi, I have the astoria jada ak super automatic. I

The drain **** is either blocked or bend or is making a big bend which is blocking water in it a this making dificult for the drain water to flow. Their is also a smal chance the main drain pipe to be blocked so you can try to put the drain hose inside a bucket to check if the water can run through you drain hose

One side of the expresso machine is not working

Check the nozzle at the end of the steam wand, use a paperclip to clear, if you can get hot coffee then the steam wand is just blocked.
