respected sir i just wnt to say that open the rear upper cover ,there will be a small micro switch ,while ON the machine press that micro switch your machine will be ready
You Can make reset for this code by: 1. Open the front door of the machine & lift the upper half 2. Turn the machine on 3. Locate the srvice switch on the main board( backside of the machine you can reach even without opening the back cover) 4. If this code is coming from time to time just change the upper heater roller
Hi- The C-05 is a fuser code indicating that the machine is not warming up. The diagnstics detected that the temperature in the fuser is not increasing and it shuts down This could be caused by a blown thermal fuse (the most common and cheapest to fix) or a bad heat lamp or thermistor (not so cheap or easy to fix) The fuser is the last thing that the copy passes through before it exits the machine and is not too hard to get into. The fuse is located just a few millimeters away from the heat roller (the teflon coated aluminum roller that is on the top part of the fuser) The fuse is usually available at Radio Shack and make sure that you buy the correct value, usually stamped on the fuse itself.
