I have a Seth Thomas mantgel clock. I need the instructions to set the chimes. I lost mine.
There is no model number shown. It may have been on the instructions but I lost those. To set the chimes you push a red button. Then you push the number of times shown on a chart. The chart has a number for each hour; a.m. and p.m. inclusive. I need either a copy of the instructions page or a list of those numbers.

Please change the time of your wall clock back 1 hour and check if the other 3 chimes return. There should be knobs on the side of the clock to help you do this. If not on the side, then please check on the back. Since you've already checked the settings and ruled them out as the cause of the issue (as well as the batteries), you might need to perform a factory reset on the clock if the steps I mentioned above fail.
Sounds like someone moved the hour hand! Put the hour hand back by gently turning it to the correct hour determined by the number of gongs, and always turn the minute hand only to set the time.
Mine keeps time but no chime. The repair shop says mine is wore out and needs the chimer section replaced. Do not try to repair yourself as it will cost you more in the long run.
