Re: My tv won't turn on
Replace 19 caps in the power supply, 4) 3300uf/35v, 8) 2200uf/25v, 6) 1000uf/10v, 1) 1000uf/16v and ESR the remaining caps for good measure. That should repair the problem in about 99% of the cases. I do several of these a month...

These blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. Count it carefully. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. It has details about blinking codes, and fault locating procedure, to many popular brand TVs and other devices. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/

First I don't think you should be doing this with the back off and then laying the tv on the electrics .it should be on stand with some input signal e.g. Sat, DVD or tuner .if it still issues the signal warning then it might mean the phase of input signal is not matching the tv which I believe is 100 hz .does the tv standby light come on after the tv drops?does it flash a certain number of times?if not then the power supply is likely to be causing the problem.the shortening length of time points to a capacitor that has or is failing on one the control panels.they hold a residual charge so when you switch on second third time it cuts out quicker.there is usually visually evidence such as burn marks, brown staining or the capacitor it's self has swollen split.
sometimes you can resolder dry joint with heat gun or iron but best to source replacement capacitor of the correct values and make sure you reseat the correct polarity so check the original before swapping out.And never do anything with the power connected to the mains or your signal light will come on for the last time.look on YouTube for tutorials on this.
Try to I unpluged the power, push volume and channel down, pluged power again
While it's flashing unplug your TV from the main power source for 15 seconds,Then press Valume Up and Channel Up, while holding it plug the TV back in, you should see the TV Turn on. How to Reset Your Sharp LCD TV TV Repair
turn tv on picture comes up 2to3 seconds later tv blacks out then stand by red light flashes 4 times in a row repeatedly..can not turn on or off when stand by light starts flashing but before tv blacks out you can turn tv on and off repeatedly and picture and sound work. You have to unplug power cord for 30 seconds after stand by light comes on to get tv to turn on.
replace the power suply unit the 5v stand by is not working
if youhave good hands buy a 5 volt power supply and connect it to the same output (but remember to remove the transformer for that power )
check it with a dvm
hope i helped
Your TV has a power problem, it maybe high or low supply voltage that causes the TV to turn it self off because of an error. A technician from the manufacturer knows what error it has just by looking at the flashing standby light. Best is to take it to an authorize service center for repair... ^_^
