Question about Sony Ericsson Walkman W810i Cellular Phone
If the data-cable is connected to the phone, then it "locks out" access from the phones interface to your memory card. If you unplug your phone and search the phone, i believe you should be able to see them. If the music files you transferred to the phone are in the format .WMA the phone cannot play them. They need to be something like .AAC or .MP3, as the native Windows WMA-format is not supported by the W810i. If the problem persists try updating your phones software using the SE-Software updater.

U have to follow this process.
Install Any USB drivers which are needed for your cable. Then connect your phone to the PC. Open Windows Media Player and click on the sync tab in Windows Media Player. Now on your phone hit MENU->Get It Now->Option 1 Music and Tones->6 Sync Music and the phone should show up under the devices in Windows Media Player.
