I need advice on where to find a spindle motor.

Usually there is a back panel that can be removed to give access to the motor and pulley wheel for the drum. If not then remove the top panel and look down the back and you will see the big drum wheel. you will also be able to see the spindle for the motor at the bottom. Reach down to the motor and hook the belt around the spindle and place as much of it as possible on the pulley then turn the wheel to pull the rest of the belt on. It can be a little tricky but the only other way is to completely remove the back half of the machine. Two issues

1, if the CD is not spinning BAD motor, or not getting enought power from the supply.

2. LCD not turning on (bad back light) or power not getting to it

1. replace the A/C apator
1.a try holding a flash light up to the lcd display to see if you see anything. If not then you are not getting full power to the unit you could have a bad power supply or logic board as a whole.

Audiovox is "you get what you paid for device" basically speaking use it for a year and throw it away. Not trying to be blunt but simply put there not quality devices at all.

Take my advice with this following statment "your better off with a new player"

money wise its not worth it to have the leds replaced would far outway replacing the unit with a new deck..as a tech would charge you around $30 for parts and 2 hrs work all up around $ 200

Lift the platter off the turntable. You can identify the motor spindle by using your fingers to turn the round shaft which rotates freely. Remove the rubber mat off the platter. Place the belt around the outside of the drum on the bottom of the platter. From the top of the platter, place your finger in one of the platter holes and tension the belt so it will not fall off or twist. Griping the platter trough the holes while keeping tension on the belt place the platter on the turntable aligning your finger with the belt to the motor spindle. Place the section of the belt on your finger over the motor spindle. Replace the rubber mat on the platter.

Burnt discs? if so it just might be in the wrong codec or wrong type of disc there are R + and R- try both if not then your portable disc player cannot run these types of moives/discs. If this helped please vote fair.
