unfortunately this happens from time to time, you need to contact yahoo support but they will only look for emails that have disappeared within the last 2 days. they've lost my emails covering a 4 year period!! use a mail program like thunderbird to download the emails to your pc - note: only the inbox is downloaded
Hi! If you are saying about Instant [Messages] means, that you are going to loss with out error since those would active for one time unless other regular mails! so before going to log out please consider of reading messages.
The contact may have gone from My Contacts to All Contacts list
Have you tried restoring from backup? Have you looked in Recover Deleted Items? Default is 30 days for retension
Have you checked your email through a method other than the iphone to see if it truly is gone? The phone will only display so many messages at a time, maybe your previous ones are just "dropping off" the bottom of the list. If that's the case then they're still on the server, just not visible on the phone. You can view more by going to Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>Show. Hope this helps.
