Question about Kitchen Ranges

Range won't stop beeping

Hi, My range has been beeping since yesterday. I have hit clear/off, switched the breaker to the range off and on and still cannot stop it. The only thing I have done which I think could have caused this is; yesterday I cleaned the instrument panel and also got my shirt stuck on the lever which is for the self clean. Any ideas?

This is something that should be checked by a technician. Could be something simple but when your dealing with 240 volts you need to know what you are doing.

Beeping won stop

Good Morning Gemma - Try resetting the range by either unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. Wait approximately ten minutes and turn the unit back on. Is the range still beeping? If so, then the unit may possibly be experiencing a communication problem with the EOC (electronic oven control) or a potential wiring failure. An experienced service technician may need to further evaluate this issue and assist with the repairs.

I get a F11 code with beeping noise and the oven controls won't work? what can i do?

Hi Ken Kazemi - Typically error code F11 indicates a shorted keypad. Try resetting the range by unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. This usually will clear most false error codes. Wait approximately ten minutes and if it proves to be ineffective contact a professional to move forward accurately. Most likely the EOC on the range will need replacing.

Whatis F3 mean when sld cleaning oven

F-3 tells you that the electronic control has detected the fault condition.
Press CLEAR/OFF to clear the display and stop any beeping. Then go to the house breaker box and try turning the house breaker to the oven off for 5 minutes. Electric ovens have two switches in the house breaker box. This will reset the system and clear any electronic glitches that are in the system.

If this does not remedy the situation then this means you have a bad oven sensor.
Unfortunately this is not a home handy person fix.

Have a magic chef oven, f1 display after self cleaning, stove top works fine, any thoughts

F-1 is a fault code.

Disconnect the power plug or turn range power off at circuit breaker. Wait a couple of minutes, then plug the range in or flip the range circuit breaker to ON.

Oven control beeps & displays any F  code error (for example
F11) - Electronic control has detected a fault condition. Press
CLEAR/OFF to clear the display & stop beeping. Reprogram
oven. If fault recurs, record fault number. Press CLEAR/OFF
contact an authorized service agent.
