Hi, Please help!! I recently purchased Belkin N1 router to set up a network at home. I want to have 1 pc connected to teh router and have 2 laptops access the internet wireless (bought laptop adapter cards) I am an old telewest customer and have a WEBSTAR DPX 100 series cable modem. (has coaxial cable connected to it) I was advised to buy this Router from PC world and was told it would take 5 mins to set up with telewest now virgin broadband. The setup instuctions are very easy, but I encountered a problem straight away, it stated in instructions to remove modem cable from PC and connect to router, I was unable to do this as the connection from modem to PC is a USB connection. So instead I got a cable to connect PC to router and then used the wire provided in belkin box to connect the modem to the router. All the blue lights lit up on the router and I thought I was on my way to setting up the wireless network I then inserted the setup CD provided. It cannot get past stage 1 and keeps saying that there is no network connection and that the router cannot be connected to? I tried to repair the network by right clicking and clicking repair. But it doesnt allow the repair and states that the ip address cannot be renewed. There is also a notice on the task bar on windows XP saying limited or no internet access? I am unsure what to do and require some assistance. Thanks Bally
