If you have the original remote (RC-A07) for Sinotec tv, then press and hold down the music button for about 10 seconds. This worked for me.

thank you for your write up MLB78. my tv remote got under my plate and my screen went blue with a red lock type thingy on screen, i couldnt push any buttons. I have the original remote AC-A22 and i held down the music button and i have tv again. thank you thank you thank you

I was in the same predicament... I even asked advice here...
Well I got irritated and just decided to do the following: Press and hold the power button for a few seconds...it will switch off but remain pressing the button... then when it comes back on just press a channel, I just pressed 1 and Voila it was unlocked...
Hope this helps someone... Oh by the way I have a Mp 54 DVD tv...( tv with dvd player)

I have a Sinotec TV with remote RC 822. My daughter was playing with the remote and somehow managed to lock it. Now it shows a red padlock on the screen and nothing you press on the keypad has any effect.

I also have Sinotec TV and managed to some how lock the darn thing, tv stays blue and red padlock shows on the top right corner. Everything I press or do does not unlock it
