No scanner was found connected to my computor.I can't make them "feel" each other no matter what I do with the usb cordattaching it to a usb port on the computor. The computor still does not react to it with more than a short sound.
Help me. What is wrong? What can I do?

- Yes, snapscan e50 has worked on another computor that had XP. That was a stationary computor though, which this isn't.
Windows XP
Windows XP does not support the scanners with parallel ports: SnapScan EZ, SnapScan 310 p, SnapScan 1212 p, SnapScan 1200 p.
Agfa will not make XP drivers in the future for these scanners as it
stopped its desktop scanners and digital camera business in September
2001. That is a quote from agfa...did it ever work with Vista...I also wonder were you luck enough to have it work with XP ? I am sorry I could find no new drivers that would help you.

Describe your agfa avantra 25 Vertical lines on developed film The spinner motor has been acting up so I'm wondering if the problems are related. We had agfa take a look at it a while back and I think they replaced a contact to that motor but I think they used the wrong size so the contact is not reliable. So I'll jiggle the contact and the motor comes back on but now I have vertical lines on the film instead of the art I'm trying to image.
