Re: DS game memory is full, how do i delete

Okay i can help i have an R4 and it works perfect except for my left <- button... i hate that button never really liked it... okay anyways to delete some games that you dislike or whatever take out the chip and in the chip should be a little small chip and put in a USB thing to upload games on. So what you have to do is access the DS game chip R4 or w/e access it and you should delete the games that are not needed simple!
Hope this helps

Re: DS game memory is full, how do i delete

I am not completelly sure about the game card chip you talk about but that sounds like a flash card cartridge for NDS. If you just would give me more information about that game card like seller store or website or device serial/model, slot used and flash type used. I will investigate about it.

The first: make sure the flash card is well plugged into the cartridge and plug it out and in again to be sure. Better if you clean the flash memory contacts with a dry cloth or q-tip.

Second: find the cartridge documentation and try to find a web page. Usually all the product issues like this are placed in the FAQs area of the manufacturer site. Or at least with the name you can find information in any related forum.

Third: If like I think, a fat error can happen when you use a flash memory card with a fat partition different or not supported by the cartridge hardware or firmware. That is not something that can happen just by using it unlike the files get corrupted.

In your case seems like you depleted the card memory maybe by storing game saves in the card. You can try to delete them by using the card menu. If the error dont let you do it, then you must find the cartridge memory card if removable and try deleting some unused files with your computer using a memory card reader. If not a removable memory then you must have a reader/writer for interchanging files with a computer or a comunicartion cable which should need some software or drivers.

And having something of that you always have the option to format the card, reload the cartridge software, upgrade the firmware, download new game roms, convert them if nescesary and load them in the flash card to play. Usually these devices use FAT16 or FAT file format (not FAT32 until you know this device support that format).

This is all i can say by now with the information you gave me...

Good Luck...

I have bought my son a used ds game 'my baby boy' and have no idea how to reset it. please help him and me so I do not need to hear this game and my son crying.

Hi there, whilst in game go to the options menu then go to "Save". Press the R, X and B buttons at the same time which unlocks the delete option. If you delete the save you will start the game all over again.

Hope this helps

How to fixce

Well it sounds like he's using something like an r4 which is just a ds adapter for a memory card. You'll probably need to take the memory card from the adapter and with another adapter or if you have built in card reader plug in to pc. It's most likely a micro sd.

Nintendo DS Lite - How do I delete points from a game?

If you want to delete the points you have to delete the whole save file also. Thus, you have to copy the game and the save file into his friend's ds if he wants to play the same lvls that your son has passed. PLEASE rate me.

Restore deleted game

Check properly if it is the .SAV file or the .NDS file. If it really is the .NDS file, and you can't see the file through the DS game list, try downloading and put the game inside again. If this doesn't work, you gota try deleting the .SAV also.

Multi game card for ds lite

Thanks for giving the card name, that helps to investigate possible causes of your problem.

The common causes of these problems are full cards memory because the seller fill the memory with game roms to make the device sell more attractive, though to save games you need memory and completelly filling the memory capacity of these cards make them to have issues like the ones you told before.

The good thing is that you can connect the NDSL to your PC throught the suplied USB cable and SLOT-2 (GBA game slot) N-Card Flash Linker cartridge.
You can download the required software latest files from the manufacturers website. Once connected, turn on your DS, your PC will recognize it and you will be able to drag and drop files, then you can delete or copy some less used game roms or save files from the card to your PC leaving free space for the others to run.

If nothing of that works for you, then you would try to find a FAQ or support forum site where you can find more options to solve this issue.

Good Luck...

Nintendo ds games

you need to go into the system itself and delete files from the DS itself. The DS has the capability to save files. when the game starts up, go into systems and you should be able to find where the files are and start to delete some.
