Baker's pride pizza oven needs repairs

I work with 4 Baker's Pride Pizza Ovens from hell. These things seem possessed and nobody seems able to fix them. Actually 1 out of the 4 is working adequately enough but the others all suck. They all stay lit but just don't get hot enough to cook anything worth a crap. One of these three used to be my best oven ; it would get dangerously hot and you had to be very careful when using it because it would burn things quite easily if you weren't constantly tending to it- but I loved it... then one day it just wouldn't stay lit; then repair man came, now it stays lit but doesn't get 1/10th as hot as it once did and it sucks... I'm up to my ass in weak and ineffective and I have had it -Can anyone offer me any suggestions or advice? many thanks from Karla in Gold Canyon, AZ.

I have a bakers pride pizza oven and the bottom oven Including the pilot light) continue to go out for no apperant reason. I have changed the thermocouple 3 times and the pilot light once. Sometimes it...

Several things to check. First be sure the pilot light flame is directly striking the thermocouple. It is a pencil sized rod that is next to the pilot light. Sometimes people reduce the size of the pilot flame to save gas. You may need to increase the pilot flame. Follow the small gas line from the pilot flame back to the gas valve. There is a screw where the small pilot gas line goes into the valve. Remove the screw and then deep in the hole is a tiny screw that can only be reached by a tiny flat blade screw driver. Turn the screw counter clockwise to increase the pilot flame. The thermocouple needs to be red hot to work properly. The second item to check is to see if there are any breezes that occasionally blow through the kitchen. Sometimes the hood fan will draw air under the ovens and actually blow the pilot flame out. Same fix, increase the flame. You may also experience low gas pressure to the appliance during heavy usage. You would need a manometer gauge to check for proper gas pressure. In short, if the oven goes out during your busiest time when everything gas powered is on, the oven may be starved for gas.

Need a wiring schematic for a Bakers Pride p44 double pizza oven.

hi..there is color coding on the wires..BLACK WIRE is the live wire(wire #1) which should be connected on top of the terminal supply of your oven (if vertically positioned) and sometimes to the leftmost right(horizontally positioned),then the RED WIRE to the bottom (vertically positioned),or rightmost part (horizontally positioned) and the WHITE WIRE is at the center(both horizontally/vertically positioned0 and the GREEN wire must be connected to the grounding of the unit just below/beside the terminal supply of your oven..hope this helps

Lang gas pizza oven.. Main burners won't lite!

Hello. It sounds like, from what you said, you have a new thermocouple. The device it is attached to, the pilot safety, could have a problem internally that allows gas to the pilot, but does not open the main part of the valve, or electrically has failed on the main coil. If you have a thermostat with wires on it, you can jumper the wires, to bypass it, temporarily please, if it comes on, you need a thermostat, if not, it is the valve most likely.

Hope that helps, and thank you.

Thermo coupler on all the time, push in button, shuts off gas

Bad Safety valve. (valve w/red button). Thermocouple keeps the magnet open to keep pilot and so gas can flow to burner. Make sure pilot is clean and strong and hitting thermocouple. If it doesnt stay lit replace Safety Valve.
