If the language setting you are referring to is the printer and not the software installed on your PC, then:

Press the COPY button, then the Additional Functions Button, then, press the "+" Key until you see "2" on the left side of the display. Press OK, then press the "+" key until you see "3" on the left side of the screen. Press OK, then press the "+" key until you find English or what ever "English" is in the language your printer is set to.

I could not find the above in the manual or on the Canon online FAQ section.

Hop this helps.

May be your system does not have the right font installed. If you know what font it requires, then try installing that font. Otherwise unistall and reinstall the printer driver and select your own language. (Try to install a complete version or customized version in which language selection is available) You can download another printer driver in your own laguage, and install it. Hope this information will be useful to you.

Changing the language of your choice is not a great deal. Check the instructions provided below and know how to change the language to English.
-> Power off your printer, keep the printer setup undisturbed for a while, and then power it on.
-> Get directed to the control panel of your printer, slide the display to the left, and then click on the settings icon.

-> By doing this, the list of available languages will be displayed on the screen.
-> Scroll through the entire list and choose English ( as you wish) and then click on the Yes option.

My printer was purchased and is used in Germany. The on-screen instructions/options (eg, back to back print, etc) come up in German. Can I change that to english?.

Please follow the steps below to reset the Language on your Lexmark X3350 printer:
  1. Power off the printer.
  2. Hold down the power and + buttons simultaneously for five seconds. This will clear the language setting.
  3. The first prompt you will see is English. If this is not the language required, toggle the + and - buttons to navigate to your preferred language.
  4. Press the arrow button to select that language. The printer will save the new language setting.

Brother HL-2035 laser printer, black dots appearing down right side of paper, 3" apart, after changing toner and cleaning wire.

Dots, Lines and smudges on the printouts are due to dirty/ deteriorating cartridge and cleaning the green drum of the cartridge may help temporarily. Take out the cartridge and gently clean the roller/ green drum with a dry, soft, lint-free cloth wiping off the toner dots marks/ lines.
Also, make sure that the visible inside of the printer is clean and ther is no spilled toner inside, which sometimes results in dots.
Let me know if any further clarification/ assistance is required.

Dont forget to appreciate the solution if I could have been of any help!

On the printer or on the program?
The program included can help you change the settings on the printer itself.

Go to the printer properties within Windows then to Printer preferences by right clicking on the Lexmark printer, look for language and set it to English. Press ok.
