1. you should have a CD/DVD burner on your computer. 2. Use the supplied buring program e.g Nero, Hotburn pro etc. 3. Process is very intutive in either of these programs. Simply follow the instructions.... :-)

Access the Internet from another computer that has a CD burner installed. If you have other user accounts on the main computer, you can attempt to log in to those accounts just to get to the Internet.

    • 2
Download Ophcrack, a highly rated free password cracker for Windows. The website has been included in the References section at the end of this article. For easy access, download the file to the computer's Desktop. You will be downloading the ISO image of the program which can be burned onto a blank CD-R.

    • Proceed according. God bless you

Insert the blank CD-R CD. Select the ISO image of Ophcrack that you just downloaded, and right click on the item. Select 'Burn' from the drop down menu. If a burn program opens, click Burn Disc to burn the program to the CD-R.

    • 4
Remove the burned disc, and go back to the original computer that you are locked out of. Turn on the computer, and immediately insert the disc into the CD-ROM drive.
This will allow the computer to boot from the CD-ROM. You may be prompted in DOS to boot from the CD-ROM, select "Yes."

    • 5
Allow Ophcrack to run; it will run automatically and display the administrator and user password on the screen as it recovers them. Write down the passwords, and wait for the program to finish.

    • 6
Remove the burned disc, and restart the computer. Allow the computer to load to the sign in screen, and enter the newly recovered password. You should have full access to your Administrator account once again.

You can remove or change the Window's User or administrator's password. You need access to a computer with Internet access to download the Hiren's Boot CD and burn it onto a CD. Then insert this CD into the laptop/computer and boot up the laptop/computer with the Hiren's CD and follow the instructions. There are very useful utilities CD and it a Linux boot CD which contains quite a lot of Utility programs including a password removal program. How do I format a dvd disc

You don't have to. DVD's and CD's are already formatted from factory. But if you are having problems to record on (burn) them probably your computer is not capable for DVD burn, just CD's. But if it is equipped for burning then try this:
See alsoFormat a CD or DVD

Before you can copy files to a CD or DVD, the disc must first be prepared using a process called formatting. There are several ways to format a CD or DVD disc. Your choice of format determines which computers and other devices will be able to read the disc.

  1. Insert a disc into your computer's CD or DVD drive.

  2. In the dialog box that appears, click Burn files to disc.

  3. In the Burn a disc dialog box, type a name for your new disc.

  4. Click Show formatting options, and then click one of the following formatting options:

    • Live File System

    • Mastered

  5. Click Next to prepare the disc.

Now you can copy files to your disc using whichever method you selected.

Burning CD's

The problem is the format, car stereos use a different format than computers do for reading discs. You can try formatting the burn process for the type of stereo (usually an MP format will work) or try different burning software, I've found that Nero works better than Windows for burned music CD's for the CD player in my Caddy, and I don't have to format. You might be able to find Nero at
