Question about Computers & Internet
Try, right click on my computer icon>properties>hardware tab>device manager>, then look down the list to your keyboard, click + sign, right click on keyboard select uninstal and then reboot notebook and keyboard will self install. If still not working your drivers may be corrupt and will need to be downloaded from the Asus support website.

A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

SOURCE: FUNCTION KEY:(
You didn't state which Operating System you are running, so if Windoze Vista is your OS, this is a known issue and I'm sure that Asus support/download site will have an updated driver for you soon. If not? let us know if you made any hardware changes or installed any software before this issue occurred? If so, you might want to try to remove them and see if that gets your function keys working again.
