Need Help With Hitachi 46ux7b TV

Hi all! Just got a used tv and need a little help. The picture is pretty clear and the sound is great, it's just that the picture is dark and has a red tint most times. I don't have the original remote, just a Phillips universal remote. I was trying to research on how to access the service menu, but couldn't find any info for this model.

What's going on with my tv? I am a pretty technical person, is it something I can fix on my own? Thanks in advance for your replies!
