Yellow power save light was on, and I pushed power button to turn tv on and instead of turning green and coming on, the yellow light went off, and tv will not power up at all now. Verified power strip power ok. Is that a reset button hole I see in the back of the tv just below and to the left of the AC Power Plug? Is there a fuse I can get to? I worked in a tv repair shop in 1968-69, but this baby is nothing like those old tvs!!! This tv is also being used as my 2nd computer monitor. Thanks, Mike

I have the same problem with this set TLA-01511C I noticed that if I unplug it for a few minutes it fixes it. I do not notice the tv getting hot so it may not be heat related.
I have a polaroid 42 flat screen LCD. I connected my laptop to it, and it worked fine, but then I accidentally hit the power button on my computer and the tv said VGA source off, powering down. Then the TV turned off. Now the red light is on on the tv but when I hit the power button the TV dosen't turn on. Please somebody help.
Any resoloution to this?
Any soloution to this? I have the exact same problem..
Was there ever a solution to the issue above. I have the same problem with a Polaroid 46" HD Widscreen LCD TV model TLA-04841C. I plugged my MAC book into it to watch a movie. Worked fine when in powered down and disconnected my MAC book. Watched TV through the night. Pwred of the TV and then the next day I went to watch it and the red power light the only thing working.
Same problem here. I have a Polaroid 4241-TLXB, I plugged my friend's laptop into the VGA port last week. When I switched resolutions via the laptop, the TV said "VGA source off / Powering down". It turned off (screen went black, blue power-on LED switched to orange standby LED), and now it won't turn back on (the standby LED remains orange when the TV is plugged in). I've kept it unplugged for a day hoping to reset it, to no avail.
