Cd tray on xbox 360 will not open or close. Light

-   My tray will not open or close either. When I press the open button the status bar on the dashboard says "Opening" then "Closing" then "Reading" then gives me the option to "Open Tray"

It says all those things but does none of them. I opened the dray manually, put a disk in, and it said "Closing" then "Reading" then gives me the option to "Open Tray". No red lights, no error message-   Guest
