Question about Flat Panel Televisions
SOURCE: Samsung plasma PS42D5S
You need to adjust the panel voltages, adjust the VS voltage to around 186 volts, if that doesn't change it then adjust the V-Scan voltage down, turn the unit on and apply a video source to it, and while adjusting the voltages look at the screen and you should be abe to watch the video noise fade out.

NO. Return for exchange. Green and Red Dots are Common with Akai/Viore. Google Viore 42 plasma and read. Same Company = Same TV = Same Problems

The problem is more or less with the LCD screen itself. The manufatcurer covers dead or burnt pixels.I would suggest contact Vizio Support on the following number

The pink fuzzies come from a faulty Ymain. If you are looking at the set with the back off, its the largest board on the left side. Get the part number from the board and replace that one first. You may have to check the buffers or the logic board if this doesn't solve the problem but 9 times out of 10 when the picture is firing random pixels, its due to an overload in the Ymain (also called the YSUS).
