bummer time to replace it power supply is bad or when it gets hot it will shut off. I had a monitor that would come on and go off within one minute. the montor was bad

Are you feeding the monitor via an HDMI connection? HDMI carries digital audio as well as digital video signals. If using DVI or VGA to connect it to your PC, there is no audio being fed to the monitor, so nothing can come out, unless you have a separate audio cable running to the monitor as well from the computer :o)

Have you recently changed your monitor check the aspect ratio of TV tuner and monitor they should be of the same type,If you are not getting my point Let me know the manufacturer & Model of both the devices

Please check if all the cables are properly connected. Press the auto button on your monitor to let monitor adjust settings automatically. Then set the resolution to default recommended settings.

Will the monitor not come on at all? Its possbible you have some capacitors burned out on power board. This will cause it to go in to Power saving mode and stay.

1ST CHECK POWER CORD.

2ND CHECK CONNECTION ON BACK OF PC

3RD HAVE YOU INSTALLED, DELETED OR REMOVED ANYTHING FROM YOUR PC PRIOR TO THE MONITOR SHUT OFF ON YOU

Unfortuneately the only solution is to replace the monitor because the LCD panel is defective or the main processing board that is attached to the back of the display panel.

There is an adaptor bracket that you can purchase that replaces the stand. The only place so far that I have found it is a website called Gladiatorjoe.com. I havent purchased one yet bit it seems it would work
