When I put a 80 minute tape in my vx2100 I get blockies in the first few minutes. This didn't always happen. When I use 60 minute tapes there are no problems. What changed? Is the transport starting to wear?

Try cleaning the video heads in the camera. You can buy a head cleaner tape which I'm not a big fan of, or, use a Q-tip and rubbing alcohol on the video drum (delicately and just barely damped).

The normal heart rate is really an average heart rate, around 80 beats per minute. Many things can make it go faster or slower, including activity, medication, drugs, exposure to insectisides or mushrooms and others. A slow heart rate is called bradycardia, usually around 60 beats per minute. Sometimes the electrical nodes in the heart which help to make the heart start a new beat quit or work incorectly. In these cases medication or a pacemaker are required. I hope this answers your question.
That obviously depends on the length of the tape. With an 80 minute tape, you can record for 80 minutes in SP mode or 120 minutes in LP mode. With a 60 minute tape, the numbers are 60 minutes and 90 minutes.
When you put the tape in and play your songs, then take it out or eject the tape, push in the radio mode, you should the radio , if not check to make sure you got a good antenna connection, sometimes there maybe a delay but hopefully not two minutes, should be more like 5-10 second delay
Do you have solved your problem ?
I got exactly the same...
My researches tell me it's only "electronics components" on the battery block which are defective, but I'm not sure of mine because I'm not an electronics specialist...
Hey there,
Next time you have a few minutes, open the B side of the tape deck and look at the actual tape head- if it is dirty, you can clean it using cotton swabs and 80% isopropyl alcohol. (Higher than 80% is actually better, because it has less water in it)
Let me know if this helps your problem,
HortonA!
check the condition of the pinch roller. a bad pinch roller can cause this problem - a tape plays for several minutes, then has problems. what happens is the tape slowly moves up or down on the roller instead of traveling in a straight path. this is caused by the roller becoming worn or glazed and not being able to provide traction to pull the tape through.
I had the same problem when I reused tapes that I had recorded on before, but I don't have this problem when I use brand new tapes.
I use Panasonic and Sony tapes and the odd JVC.
