Loud Buzzing Sound - Rear of TV

The unit is working perfectly and there are no lights flashing in the front of the unit. Picture quality is also excellent. However, there is a loud humming or buzzing sound coming from the back of the unit. Sounds like the fan. When the TV is truned off, the sound winds down.

TV has been humming for a while now. Three days ago the bulb blew up. Ordered replacement, put it in but the TV still hums. What is causing this?

I hear a loud buzzing sound at the back of my tv. The error in front tells that it is the lamp so I replaced the lamp. I still hear the loud buzzing sound and the lights in front are still blinking. What could be wrong?

It is probably the color wheel that needs replacing.

It sounds as though your SMPS is seriously faulty and normally one can buy a kit to correct the problem if you are a TV engineer, however there could also be many other reason for the condition that you describe its almost impossible to guess correctly, it really needs a qualified engineer to assess the problem along with he or she having the set with them.

HITACHI MODEL # 53UDX10B has a flashing red light and a buzzing sound

If it was transported likely the set was damaged--one of the three picture tubes used could have been damaged--the flashing light is the set trying to come on and the buzzing is related to whatever is bad.

It needs to be opened and inspected.

This DLP tv have a colors wheel.The tv colors wheel,it dead.Have loud humming sound,motor noises and pictures flashes black&white within a picture.The colors wheel is dead and is spinning off of it axis and hitting of it sides motor walls.Tv must require a replacement of a colors wheel.Hire a tv tech. to do the job.The tv colors wheel is hard to replace.The tv colors wheel sit behind many manchanical parts,must take out even before u even can replacement the colors wheel itself.

Loud sound would be coming from defective color wheel that is mounted i light engine, next to lamp housing. Replacement of color wheel is required expertise/ experience and professional will do that for you in correct and in safe manner.
Contact local tv repair shop to get color wheel replaced in tv.

Poor picture quality and loud buzzing noise

Sounds like your color wheel is failing they make a loud sqeauling noise when they begin to fail.Run you somewhere around $300-400 to have a tech repair it.
