Re: problem with t.v.
What is the exact model # of the set and i can assist you more. Is it a WS55807? Let me know and we can continue after that.
You definately need a HDTV Box from cable or i recommend the Dish Network for the $$. You can run 2 TV'S independantly off one receiver and watch 2 different things at once or record 2 things at the same time. They work great. But cable has its advantages also like ON DEMAND. It a good feature also. Let me know if this helps out. Thanks Jay

If you are using a cable box connected to the television for viewing channels, the box has a screen format button on it make sure its is not in zoom mode also. Check the box's remote for a button labeled format or Aspect or screeen.

It sounds like your TV is experiencing a CONVERGENCE CIRCUIT failure. YES, it is worth repairing, it's a great TV. The cost will be from $450.00 to $650.00; call an Authorized Service Center and have them give you an estimate B4 repair. Good luck, big IRISH. PS: It's Not An Easy repair to do your self.
You should be able to access all the menu features from the front of the set. Or keep in mind, you can purchase any mitusbish remote and it will do most things, Just look for format button. I may even have one if you need one. Let me know if i helped you solve your problem. Good Luck. Jay
Where did you adjust the red and blue?................Did you remove the speaker grill cover and the access panel to get to
the screen control adjust? Do not adjust focus..........make
sure you turn down ( CCW ) the red screen control a little....
is that any better...........?...................T.
I looked on the Mitsubishi web sight for you and they didn't have anything listed. I can tell you, that any Big Screen will replace your broken one, so you might want to check at all your local tv shops. Even if it's too big, it can be cut to size. Sorry I can't be of more help.Good Luck
I has a similar problem and I didn't quite fix it but made it less noticeable.
Press menu and then the code 2-3-5-7, this enters a service menu. Press Audio/Video to go between the options to get to options 40-50 to adjust geometry. Be sure to write what setting there on before you change it (even if they're wrong) just in case.
Its just trial and error from there, and hope I can still help.
