SOURCE: Bosch Dryer venting

i think you will find that one of these caps should be off and preferably connected to a vent hose to go outside the house. the reason they are blowing off is that the air has nowhere to go

SOURCE: Bosch Dryer WTMC3321

Hello Teambrant, the screws are a T-20 torx for the door and T-25 for the hinge. You can use the T-20 for both if you need to. Open the door all the way, remove the screws, then as you close the door it will come off. This kit will have all the parts needed for the kit. You will have to have the kit to reverse this door. The plastic retainers slide down, I use a pop sickle stick to push them down.

Take off the back and save on time, the front is plastic notches and one screw buried inside on the blower! Go to www.apdepot.com and punch in your model as looking for parts, there good and giving good pics.

SOURCE: asko stackable dryer/Bosch stackable washer compatability

If you arer going to replace the washer with a Bosch Axxis model, it will simply plug into the back of the dryer (if it is electric) because normally the dryers are 220 VAC. Works A-OK.

One of the 3 wings fell off inside dryer drum.

unplug the dryer, open the door, remove the two phillips screws that hold the door on,the screws are in the middle of the hidges, look at the other side and remove the two screws that are there, pull off the front panel grabbing it at the top where the top screws were and pull forward the bottom of panel is on clips, just slide the panel up off the clips, now spin the drum until the baffle that you need to repair is in the lower right hand corner and you can get to it there.if the holes are to big for the screws add a washer to stop the screws from falling through the holes, sometimes the screws get ripped through the holes making the holes to big for the screw heads and a washer needs to be added, let me know how you make out

How do I change the electric bulb inside ????

First of all, unplug your dryer from the plug. Then open up the door, and look directly to the back of the drum and you should see a rectangular cover with a phillips head screw. Unscrew, remove the cover, and then unscrew the bulb. Make sure you replace it with the same bulb. Usually, they're 10w appliance bulbs. I hope this works for you, but if not - feel free to contact me again. Good Luck!

I dont know how to change te bolb

Open the door to the dryer. Look directly in the back of the dryer, and you should see a rectangular cover with a phillips head screw. Before you begin, first unplug the cord from the wall. Then, unscrew the cover and remove it. Unscrew the bulb, and then replace it with the new bulb. It should be a 10 watt appliance bulb. But double check the old one, before you buy the new one. If there's no info. on the old one, then get the 10 watt bulb. If this works for you, great! If not, feel free to contact me back. Good Luck!

Dryer won't spin on my kenmore stacked model 417.90812991

This is the 2nd time I have this problem.
IF you look thry the drum to the back you should see 3 screw heads. Mine has one screw still in the hole and 2 empty holes.
This requires the drum to be removed (like take the drier apart). Behind the drum is Asmbly-shaft (ball hitch) (item 32 in the parts list). This what the 3 screws screw into.
I spent 2 days trying to put the screws in without removing the drum not possible (no way to hold the drum in place)
The first time I had to replace the drum because it wore the rim through.
I have to get 3 new screws and some thread locker.
I recommend that you check the screws every month, Use a long phillips screw drive

Took the lint screen out and forgot to put it back in and a kneehigh went in the vent and made a noise. Is there any way to get it out without repairman. I cannot see the nylon and the machine is stacked...

This being stacked makes things a lot more of a pain. Disconnect power.
  • Remove three phillips head screw at the back side of the dryer top
  • Slide top back about an inch or so and lift off
  • Remove two phillips head screws at 5 and 7 O'clock position on dryer bulkhead just behind dryer door.
  • Remove two phillips head screws on top front edge of dryer
  • Tilt dryer front forward at top and unplug door switch at top of door and light socket at top left.
  • Lift off dryer front, holding until you can unplug the moisture sensor wire at the bottom, then set aside.
  • Remove the four phillips head screws at the sides of the dryer holding the front drum support assembly.
  • Lift up assembly and pull toward you to remove.
  • You now have access to the blower.
  • Front of blower can be removed. (1/4 hex screws)

Door handle

I bought a handle and took a chance that I would figure it out. It turns out to be pretty simple. Open the dryer door and you will see 10 phillips head screws on the back of the door. There are also torx(star shaped) screws. Remove only the phillips head screws. This will separate the plastic outer ring from the door. On the back of the plastic ring are 2 screws that hold the handle. Remove the screws, replace the handle and put the ring back on the door. Put the 10 screws back and your done.
