I want a touch screen mp3 player for a 12 yr old and do not want to spend more than $50.00.

Nothing on screen!!
Will not turn on, No screen light, 2 buttons light for a few seconds, it has a full charge. Tryed reset button "paper clip"and press/ hold play-power buttons. The screen just went away. It will not play music. it connects and is reconized on the computer. I have upgraded the firmware, but have not reformated the unit...........HELP!

- I have the same problem. Upgraded firmware - success. All songs deleted during the upgrade. Put them again on the device. Player was working OK. Suddenly, for no reason, the device went dead. Paper clip reset - unsuccessful. I was a happy user so far, but this single (probabely software) bug is the reason I will NEVER EVER buy any Rio device - no matter whether my ce2100 will start working again or not.- Guest
