- I've been told that dvd players sold in different parts of the world are zoned..example U.S. Canada are zone 1.I'm told that dvd made in the zone 1 can be played in zone 1 only.I purchases my dvd from a company in Australia [ zone4].I can play the dvd on my computor with no problem..They say that there is a program to convert my dvd player to all zones. That is what I'm looking for.I'm not the sparpest knife in the drawer when it comes to this, that is why I need HELPPPPPPPPPPP!!
I'll take any help that I can get BUT remember that you are talking to an old Dummy!!!Speak as simply as you can

There is a way to remove the country code from the movie, but you would have to copy it and burn it. Do you have a computer that can burn DVD's

Your player is made to play only Zone 1 movies. I have helped people with this problem before, and copying is your only solution. The nice part is that you own the DVD.

I hope that I have provided the correct information that will assist you in the resolution of this issue. If you have any questions, please post back with a comment to this thread.
