-   While well over 90% of my slides scan in perfect or good focus, certain slides simply will not focus, either on the main subject, or anywhere in the photo. I have tried selecting the focus point using Layout Tools and I have tried experimenting with the manual focus adjustment as well as reversing the slide and repeatedly rescanning with the Preview setting, all without effect.-   Les Des
