Today, I figured I'd install some apps on my LG Optimus Chat, I seen Android Market (older app store from Google) and I tried to get Google Play Store, usually it installs itself after I use Android Market a few times but this time.. it doesn't, it runs Android 2.2 Froyo, devices running Froyo 2.2 and up can use Google Play Store, my device is even listed on Google Support webpage under Google Play as supported, as seen here: https://support.google.com/googleplay/answer/1727131 But all I want to know is, how can I get Google Play on this phone? it says it's supported and the OS supports it also, but I can't get it installed, I've tried restarts, installing Google Play apps like Movies & TV, Games etc, doesn't help, just says "Play Store not available" I hate the Market, it's old and outdated, please help!
SOURCE: how do i change my internal memory settings for LG optimus e400?
Internal memory is different than SD card memory. You only have 800MB free on your phone's harddrive, you still have 1GB of space unused on your SD card. Today's apps are large, some are even 1GB big! I would go and purchase at least a 16GB card for your phone. They are around 10 bucks now a days. Then on your phone, go to your settings and select the big apps, there should be an option to move them over to the SD card.

Delete them all and download again from a different site to External memory stick or via Pc. You could also try using different folders - sometimes my folders dont work for some things but do for others. then i change them around once they are on the phone
