I made a password for my 8gb ipod an i forgot the password and he wont let me listen to my songs
that is unfortunate there is really little you can do in the way of forgetting your password. You can temporarily unlock it, but if you cant remember it you will end up having to reset it to factory settings and lose all the data/music that is on the ipod. But you can before restoring it backup your library file. But on some generations of ipod nanos it will save the password. So lets get started.
Connect your iPod to the first computer it was synced with or the computer set as the primary one in iTunes.
Open the iTunes application, then disconnect your iPod from the computer, and it should no longer be locked.
If you can't unlock iPod using either [the code or connecting it to the computer you use to manage its songs]. . .
you can restore your iPod to factory settings using the iPod Updater. Please note that this will erase all data on your iPod. Afterwards, you can add your music and data back to your iPod.
If you can't remember the current combination, the only way to clear it and enter a new one is to restore the iPod software.
If you need further assistance or explanation of the steps listed above please feel free to follow up with a comment and i will be here to assist you. If this assisted you please feel free to rate the solution. thanks and have a great day.-Midwest-Tek
