My K610i won't turn on. Red light flashes n won't charge.

That indicates a problem with the battery.Try a reset first.

Connect the phone to the power adapter and then press and hold the power button for more then 1 min.If it still doesn't turn on then remove the battery and sim from the back and then insert the sim back again and hold the power key for more then a min.Make sure you don't insert the battery now.Let me know the result.

Thank you

Got that same problem before with my sony handset. It may be a virus or a software problem.
Basic troubleshooting steps.
1. Remove battery for 5 mins insert and turn on. Make sure battery is not empty.
2. Run a virus scan on your phone.
if nothing happens just bring it to a nearest repair store. Still under warranty period? also bring it with you reciept to a nearest Sony Repair Store.

Dead phone

Hi, Take out the battery and leave it out overnight. Then put it back in the following day and try turning the phone on. If this didn't help, then flashing is required. You can try flashing with SEUS (Sony Ericsson Update Service) which is free and if that doesn't work then you will need to use wotanserver(requires credits=money) or send it to a service center. Good luck!

Battery light

This is pretty common and not necessarily a problem. Red means that the battery is not completely charged. Since it was charging all night, it most likely almost fully charged - say 99% or so. It's not really an issue as long as your battery icon has all the bars and the phone holds the charge for a normal amount of time. If you find that the charge lasts for less time than it should, you should probably replace the battery. My phone, for example, does this every so often and then will charge normally the next day.

Wont turn on

Please check the charger connector for dirt, if possible take an old toothbrush and clean with alchohol, let it dry and refix everything. should work.
