Mitsubishi VS-50607 WHEN I PLUG IT IN THE TIMER LIGHT BLINKS 3 TIMES. WHEN I PRESS THE POWER BUTTON THE TIMER LIGHT BLINKS ONCE AND I HEAR A CLICK FROM THE REAR OF THE TV BUT NOTHING ELSE EVER HAPPENS AFTER THAT. NO PICTURE NO SOUND. I PULLED THE FUSES ON THE POWER SUPPLY BOARD AND THEY LOOKED OK VISUALLY BUT I DIDN'T CHECK THEM WITH A METER.

This model is equipped with a self-diagnosis feature to help with diagnosis of shutdown problems. To activate this turn the unit on let it shutdown then press the input/device and menu buttons on the front panel simultaneously and hold them in for 5 seconds after 5 seconds the power LED on the front panel will blink a two digit sequence. This will be one set of blinks a short pause then another set of blinks, this will repeat 5 times. 1 - 2 = no error detected 2 - 1 = X-ray protect (high voltage or beam current) 2 - 2 = Short protect (short protect monitors low voltage supplies) 2 - 3 = Deflection protect (this could be loss of vertical or horizontal deflection) 2 - 4 = Vertical protect (usually loss of vertical from the source.

Mitsubishi vs50705 turn power on green button comes on then it shuts off quickly

TRY the self check here, this model may have it.

When green light comes on and goes off, on front of set press and hold both the menu and input buttons for at least five seconds and release both buttons.

Watch the power light, if it has the self check feature it will blink a two digit error code.

The most common is two blinks, two blinks, a pause and then repeat several times.

Let me know if find a error code.
