Re: Voicemail

Usually you can dial your voicemail by dialing your own number on your cell phone. On some phones you can press and hold the 1 key. Peter

How do i lose voicemails before i hear them

Your inbox may be full. Delete old messages once you've listened to them to keep free space in your voicemail inbox. Otherwise you may be accidentally deleting them yourself but I don't think this is the problem

Voicemail number changed on samsung galaxy and can not check voicemail now

Voice mails are set up from the phone company. Your phone has no control over the voice mailing service other than assigning a speed dial to it. You should call your phone company on their customer service number and they will tell your the number to call for setting up your voice mail box.

A voice mail has been trapped in the voicemail inbox of my motorola w180 handset. I cant delete it even after a master reset and a master clear. Pl info me how to solve this problem.

have you tried calling your voicemail inbox and deleting it there? normaly a voice mail is not saved on your phone, but at your provider. so you have to call your mailbox as if you want to listen to your voicemails, and there you can choose to hear, to save or to delete it.

Just one question! How do I set up the Voicemail?

First you'll want to verify that you have set up voicemail with your current service provider. If you've already taken that step, the phone is actually pre-programmed with a quick key to get into your voice mail box.
Press and hold down the 1 key, this will bring you to your voicemail, if this is the first time you're accessing it, you'll have a default password of either 1111 or 9999. Try either of those and it will then ask you to set up your new password, follow the voice command instructions and you should be on your way!
If neither of those passwords work, I would recommend calling your service provider and making sure that they don't use a different set of generic passwords.
Or if pressing and holding down the one key doesn't work for you, simply dial your own 10 digit number, and when you hear the voice telling you to leave a voicemail, press the * key and it will begin the login process as discussed above.
    Hope this helps!

How do i set up voicemail on a samsung s5200?

On most of the phones, you need to Dial 1 and press Send from the cellphone. Follow the procedure and it's all done.

There are few more ways :-

    1. Call the Voicemail and Set up following the instructions.
    2. Go to Inbox and Call Voicemail from there and set up from there.

Any issues, you could also contact the Customer Care to fix that.

Let me know, if needed further assistance.

    Hope i helped you.

Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!
