Tranfering my videos to my Pc

your camera came with a USB cable. When you plug it in, your camera acts like a flash drive. Use Windows explorer to find it and transfer your videos to your hard drive that way.

There is a converter available here that will allow you to convert your videos to a format that you can edit with Windows Movie Maker. It's much faster and easier to use than Media Show.

Might not be much of a help, but...

If you have an SD Card slot in your PC you should be able to remove the card from the camera and plug it straight into the laptop.
