Im a getting a card err read on a brand new sandisk 4gb card the same card works fine in my other camera which is also the m80

try another card...these M80s are sensitive about SD cards, and a card used in one device won't work in another M80???
Do the SD101...Check the write protect switch on side of SD card; make sure card slot has no debris or bent pins...blow it out with duster or contact cleaner.

When i insert a game into my daughters dsi it is not showing up on the screen. It just says there is no card inserted in the DS game card slot.

Use a small torch and look inside the game slot. It is most likely that one of the contact pins has been bent and is not macking contact. If any pins look mor bent than the others you may be able to bend it back into place. Remove the battery before you try any repairs (the battery is under the battery cover on the bottom of the DSi). After removing the battery, use a suitable tool such as a small screwdriver or an unbent paperclip to gently bend the pin back to the same position as the other pins. If the pin is too far bent to be repaired, then the game slot can be replaced but this requires desoldering of the game slot and this is not a task for a novice.

Hi my son's DS works fine eg it powers up Ok, but when he inserts a game, it states that no DS card is inserted and he can't play games, everything else is fine. Do you have any ideas what may be wrong?...

Common causes for this problem is either dust or dirt in the card slot or more seriously bent pins. Try blowing in the card slot a few times and put the card back in. Try also looking into the slot to see if any of the pins are bent. If you can see any bent then I am afraid you will need a new Slot A. You can buy these for around £5 on ebay. They are quite tricky to fit so unless you are competent with a soldering iron do not attempt this yourself. For a guide on how to take apart your DS and about the Slot A replacement look online as there are several good sites around. This may sound daunting but I promise you you will be glad you did not pay someone to do it for you, usually they charge a fortune for such a minor repair.

Hope this helps

My nintendo dsi is not recognizing there is a game in the game slot

Check to make sure none of the pins inside the slot are bent. If any are you will require a new card reader which is pretty difficult to install. If they are not bent try blowing into the slot and see what happens

Hope this helps.

DS not reading game

This is usually due to either bent or dirty pins in the card slot, look inside and see if any pins are bent, if they are a new card slot is needed.

Hope this helps

Put game into action replay and it says insert game card help

I had the exact same problem as you, and I solved it. The only way to do it is to keep inserting and taking out the game card, and blowing into the DS card slot and the gold things on the lower back of the game card. After doing this about 3-5 times, the action replay should finally get the message that there is a game card in the slot. Hope this helps!

The DS Card Slot may be loose. If so, try not to touch the game card while playing.

Or, there may be a piece of dust or lint in the card slot. If you can see the lint, pick it out with clean tweezers. If you cannot see it, ask a mechanic to open the Ds and pick the dust out.
