That dial with numbers is the flow rate for the rinse aid, just to the side of that there should be a little hole, it maybe under the flap where you put the powder, open the door fully, open the flap, find the little hole and pour rinse aid in there it should only hold about 1 to 200ml ( a small cup full? ) the dial should be set about halfway hope i have helped if so rate me please

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

Dishwasher cloudy glasses

I do not have enough information to be able to answer with hundred percent certainty.
From my experience, the most common problem is the improper handling of the appliance. Driven by overwhelming commercials we often pass from detergent to tablets. The largest number of tablets contains rinse aid that we already have in the dispenser. Practical adding a double dose of rinse aid resulting in poor washing results and glasses look like washed in milk. The solution is to open the dispenser and put the dosage rinse aid to minimum. In electronic dishwashers new generation is even possible to completely exclude the dosage rinse aid if you are using tablets.

My dishwasher uses a compartment of rinse aid each wash

The cheapest and easiest option is to stop using rinseaid and use an allinone tablet instead.

sounds like the rinseaid cap' may not be sealing. I'd try swapping the caps over to see if this fixes the problem if so you need a new cap if not you need a whole new dispenser cheers

I want to change my rinse aid product

run it through a couple of empty washes or use it just to wash dishes without rinse aid. this should allow you to add rinse aid into the container after each wash there after just add more rinseaid. it could take a while to get full rinseaid coming out but eventually there should be only rinseaid in the container.
