Jenn-Air stove locked

I put my Jenn-Air stove on the clean cycle and when it started to beep 1 hour into the cyle, I hit cancle. Now the stove is perminatly locked and I can't get it to open. It is not heating. I turned it off at the circut breaker, and that did't work. I also tried to restart the cleaning and it just beeps "F5" at me. Help! How can I get the stove to unlock?

Yeah - except that ours shows "F!" on the display, and the door also will not open. In addition, the fan is on a low bow level.

I had the same problem so I called a repair man and he charged me $75 to open it it. Now it won't lock and I can't clean it

The oven can be heating and running for some time and it turns it self off and the lock button comes on and the door locks

Sometimes in the middle of the day for no reason been off for a day and the fan comes on and the door locks. YOu can hit cancel enough times and the door will open and it not hot or heating. sometimes this stops sometimes you have to leave the door open for long peroids of time or it will do it again,
I don't have an owners manual.

We have cut off the breaker for 24 hours and it did not reset itself.

Check the trouble shooting section of your owner's manual for your various fault codes. It may point you in the right direction as to your next course of action.

Stove door locked and continues to beep and flash code F9

The F9 code indicates there is a problem with the door lock.

Try disconnecting the power to the range for 10 seconds and reconnecting. Open the oven door and hold the door switch plunger in while you try these things. Put the control into clean for 5 minutes then cancel clean. You must hold the door switch plunger in for the 5 minutes.

Try canceling the clean cycle without putting the control into clean.

I need direction on how to start the clean cycle on my jenn air

CLEAN PAD
Use to set a self-clean cycle or a delayed
self-clean cycle. One press of the Clean
pad sets up an immediate clean cycle. A
second press of the Clean pad sets up a
delayed clean cycle.
• Clean oven
frame, door
frame (area
outside of gasket)
and
around the
opening in the door gasket with a nonabrasive
cleaner such as Bon Ami*. These
areas are not exposed to cleaning temperatures.
• Remove air grille.
• Remove oven racks. If racks are left in
during a clean cycle, it may impair function
and they will discolor. Turn off the
oven light and close door.
* Brand names for cleaning products are
registered trademarks of the respective
manufacturers.
TO SET FOR IMMEDIATE START:
1. Press Clean pad once.
2. Press the Auto Set pad for 3 hours of
cleaning time, press again for 4 hours
and again if 2 hours of clean time are
desired.
3. CLEANING and LOC plus the clean
time will appear in the display.
4. When the clean cycle is complete,
CLEANED will be displayed. LOC will
remain on until the oven has cooled
(approx. 1 hour).
5. When the oven is cool, LOC will no
longer be displayed and the door may be
opened.
6. Wipe out the oven interior with a damp
cloth. If soil remains it indicates the
cycle was not long enough.

TO CANCEL SELF-CLEAN:
1. Press Cancel pad.
2. If LOC is NOT displayed, open oven
door. If LOC is displayed, allow oven to
cool.

Jenn-Air stove locked

After the lock indicator light goes out, move the door lock lever to the left. The oven door can now be opened. Turn the selector and temperature knobs from clean to off AFTER THE DOOR IS UNLOCKED. If the temperature knob is turned to off BEFORE the door is unlocked, the door will not open. Forcing the lock will damage the lock mechanism. If this should happen, return the temperature knob back to CLEAN, unlock the door, THEN turn the temperature knob off.
