First try the following: In Windows Media Player, Click Tools-->Options---> Security Tab. Make sure that "Run script command when present is not checked. Also place a checkmark on "do not run script commands and rich media streams..." Next click on Zone settings, and set each of the web content zone to their default settings. Next click on Security tab in windows media player options and uncheck "aquire license automatically..." If the problem is not resolved by following this sollution, you pc may be infected with spyware. In this case I will sugest you download a software called hitman pro. you can find it here http://www.hitmanpro.nl/hitmanpro/ There is another tool you may wanna use it may be critical in this case. It's called Hijackthis. Its very effective for popups. Download it here: http://www.download.com/HijackThis/3000-8022_4-10379544.html Allow it to scan, see if it finds the website that pops up each time. Hope this helps. Let it scan & remove spyware. if

Keep getting a box popping up talking about script errors. how do we stop that?

If you use Internet Explorer as your Web browser, chances are you have experienced, or will experience, popup script errors. Typically, a dialog box may appear stating "A Runtime Error has occurred. Do you wish to Debug?" or "Internet Explorer Script Error. An error has occurred in the script on line 1. Do you wish to continue running scripts on this page?" These errors can be distracting and interfere with your Web browsing experience. If you would like to stop receiving these error messages, you must modify your IE settings.

Open IE, select "Tools" and ten choose "Internet Options." The Internet Options dialog box will open. Click on the "Advanced" tab, scroll to the "Browsing" section and then select the "Disable Script Debugging" box.

Clear the "Display a notification about every script error" box under the same section if it has been selected. Click "Apply" and then choose "OK" to modify your IE settings. You will receive no more IE script error notifications. Hope this helps.

Will not show songs

This player has a USB and an MTP mode- the most annoying fetaure ever invented on mp3 players.

You can switch your player between USB and MTP mode only if your player is connected to Windows XP machine and Windows Media Player 10. When the player is connected to your Windows XP machine, pressing the M button on your player will switch your player between USB and MTP mode.
