I have a 2002 VW Cabrio the radio is on safe mode. I looked in the trunk for the code, there is not a radio code listed. What exactly does it say? I found vin and paint codes.

the radio code would be on a card with the original owners manual. If you do not have the original owners manual or bought the vehicle second hand, the only way to get the code will be by going to your local VW dealer with the serial number/ownership slip and paying to get the code.

Car sound system stuck on 1000

These are dealer issues. They have to be reset at the dealer. You will need proof of ownership. GM theft lock radios are notorious for this also.

I need to reset the radio on my 2000 vw cabrio, I do not know the code, all it says now is SAFE

Call the Volkswagen dealer and give him the Vin# of the Volkswagen and they will be able to look it up and give you the code for your Volkswagen. The Vin# is located on the lower drivers side windshield looking in........Hope this helps.

I need a code to reset the radio in my 2007 VW Jetta, battery died and the radio no longer works.

You have to visit a VW dealer, They will remove the radio with a special tool and enter the radio's serial number into VW's data system. This will retrieve the code. If you have owned the car from new, the code was on a tag in the owner's manual. It may still be there even if it is a used car.

I have a 1998 VW cabrio that I just replaced the battery and now the radio is in safe mode. I do not have the owners manual. How can I get the code?

You will have to call the dealer or search online for radio codes. You may have to remove the radio if you do it online to get reciever info. You may find the code on the back of the radio but usually not. Be prepared to pay for this info when you find it. If it was easy to get codes then they wouldnt be nessasary

How can I remove my radio from my 2001 cabrio vw so I can get the radio serial number to reset my radio. I lost my code number to reset radio :-(

You do not need to take the dash apart, there are two little slots oneon each side of the face of the radio, you need special removal tools to unlock it and it will pull right out, but first check in your owners manual, or in the spare tire well for the card, or sticker which has the serial number as well as the unlock code for your radio.

Code for a 2002 vw cabrio radio

Take out the radio. sometimes the code has been written on it. It also might be written on the owners manual.
If not, take the radio and your VIN (vehicle identification number) to the dealer with proof of ownership of the car.
If you are nice to them they just might give you the code. My local dealership gave my code to me like this.

Radio unlock code

For this code you most likely would have to get it from VW. Unless you get lucky and fine it on the internet. There is a good site to fine that can off stuff just look up the web site scribd.
Hope that this helps.

Cheers
