Samsung E200 Micro SD. How to put music on it?

I have a Samsung E200 and bought a 2gb microSD card for it. I have inserted the card into the phone and the icon appears on screen. However when i try to put songs onto it using Samsung Pc Studio's multimedia management tool it wont let me. It comes up as insufficient memory. This is because it is only checking the phone's internal memeory. How can I get it to recognise the microSD card and put music onto it?

The phone came with a 2GB microSD card however i've just bought an 8GB one to expand storage on the phone. i cant seem to remove the 2GB SD card. How do i remove it so i can put the new SD card in?

To remove the micro SD card push the micro SD card in further, it will click and then pop out.
To insert the new micro SD card insert it into the phone and push it in until it clicks in.

Cannot format sd card

You are probably trying to format a micro-SD card that is greater than 2GB eg, micro-SDHC (High Capacity) of 4GB or bigger are not supported by 'older' devices. Stick to 1Gb or 2Gb standard microSD cards for your device.

Hope it helps. Let me know how you go.

Samsung gravity music player help

hello all

i recently got the samsung gravity as well and had a 4gb card for it and got the same problem.... from what i have found its not the size of the card its that the phone does not support the (HC - high capicity) micro sd card. I went down and bought a regular 2gb microsd card and popped it in and it works fine. also all you have to do to put music on the card is drag(from your pc) and drop into the music folder(on the sd card). hope this helps. have a great day!!

Micro SD 2 GB just stopped working

The PIC or EEPROM inside these cards may not be working. I guess you best bet is to buy a new one try Kingston brand or go with another Sandisk.

 - verify the version of the player.  To check, go to SETTINGS > INFO

For 01.xx.xx firmware (e200 version 1) - up to 2GB microSD cards
For 03.xx.xx firmware (e200 version 2) - up to 16GB microSDHC cards
NOTE: Firmware is not interchangeable.
