SOURCE: How do i remove the

Hi Marion, All the Maclarens are pretty much the same with exception of the vintage Macs and the Daytrippers. Their fabrics are bolted on. Ok to remove the seat cover I tend to start with the uncliping the shoulder straps 1) go to the rear of the pushchair where the top of the shoulder straps sit. You will see the black/grey clips that are attached to the end of the harness 2) feed each one back through the hole/slot in the plastic backrest all the way through to the front seat cover side. So you have released both shoulder straps 3) Then you need to do a similar thing with the lap sections of the harness HOWEVER on the newer models you have an added complication. Before we continue I tend to use a flat head screw driver JUST TAKE CARE WHEN USING TOOLS. Before feeding the harness from front to the sides of the stroller you will need to separate the lap section from the section that actually clips into the **** section to lock the child in. You need to separate the lap section from the remainder of the harness. You take the screwdriver and gently AWAY from you just lift the black plastic that is rectangular in size and about 1 inch long raise the right hand side and release the lap section from the remainder of the harness 4) now you can feed the lap section of the harness from the front of the seat through to the rear. 5) then repeat this on the other side 6) what we're still in that area if you look either side Of the stroller seat section just under the frame about an inch away from the lap sections you have just f'ed through there is a single round peg where the middle section of the seat cover attaches itself to the seat cover as an added safety lock so there's no movement. You release the seat fabric from the chassis on both sides NEARLY THERE LAST BIT ALMOST.... 7) now you need to remove the **** section to release the bottom section of the seat cover. You should be able the start from the back and feed this back through to the front of the seat cover 8) then you should have released all the sections of the harness from the buggy frame. Now simply pull the top of the seat cover off the two rods either side Of the backrest and the remainder of the seat cover should come off. Once you need to replace then just do the opposite to get the harness f'ed back through the seat cover, etc. Really do hope this helps you. Regards, Liz.

I need to remove my Quinny seat cover

Hi under foot part of seat is velcro, undo this. At the sides it is like a a hard seam this is in a tube so you need to start to pull the seat upwards, once you have got it half way, you should be able to take to top of it off this is the same but across the top, slide it out the carry on with the sides. You can then either put that 1 back or put the xl seat cover on the same way. It can be fiddly.

Putting Me Back Together???

Unfortunately, all the product manuals I have found do not give instructions for replacing the covers, but give care instructions to spot-clean with a mild soap.

Were there any other parts besides the cover and the 10 screws? Maybe a molded plastic piece that the screws would go into before going into the cover and metal tubes?

My only suggestion would be to search the hem of the cover to find the holes the screws had come from, put the screws through those holes and use them to line the cover up with the holes in the back of the poles.

If you still can't get it back together, it might be helpful to take a trip to a local baby product store (such as Babies R Us) and take a look at the display models. It might help you make heads or tails of that cover. Good luck!

Stroller pad cleaning

You can remove the seat pad by unsnapping the two straps on either side of the bottom of the pad (where it covers over the metal frame). Then just thread the buckles through it. As far as the rest of the fabric such as canopy or fabrice sides, no luck. I got this stroller used and wanted to wash it all. I ended up just putting it (minus the removable pad) into my shower and washing it with the shower head. Then I got a Mr. Clean magic eraser and cleaned up the plastic parts. Now it looks so good!

Hope this helps...
