Bank 2 sensor 1 (O2)

TPS or MAP sensors may just need a clean also the crank sensor reading gap may have some dirt etc clogging the signal

P0153 & P0155 both relate to Heated oxygen sensor 1, bank 2, slow response and heating circuit inoperative- pos new sensor needed.

P0305 is misfire detected on cylinder 5
P0316 is misfire detected during first 1000 revolutions after start up.

code p0153 refers to heated oxygen sensor-1 bank 2 slow response/no activity detected===causes ---heating inoperative---wiring---oxygen sensor.
code po133 refers to the same problem as 153 and states the oxygen sensor several times so I would be replacing that unit.

the p0302 is Cylinder 2 Misfire Detected and the P0153 is P0153 O2 Sensor Circuit Slow Response (Bank 2 Sensor 1)

Hi there:
Both generic codes refer at Oxygen Sensors, an HO2S that responds too slowly is most likely defective. In order to solve it just replace the HO2S; check there description and diagnosis:
- DTC P0136 - O2 Sensor Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1 Sensor 2)
- DTC P0153 - O2 Sensor Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1 Sensor 2)

There may be problem with the mass air flow sensor (very common with Volvo). This causes the fuel system to malfunction.

You may have noticed increased fuel consumption, loss of power and general 'lazyness'.

Better to take it to authorized Volvo service for a checkup/fix.

the tech is right.. the trouble codes do not tell you what is wrong with the car... they just give you a general area to look in which involves testing multiple components and sensors. if the tech quoted you for and hour diag time i would say that you should at least expext to spend somewhere in the 300$ area depending on part cost.
