Re: no spin

Sounds like you need. New brushes in the motor.
Just done mine. Very easy to change.
The motor only has two bolts that hold it in and it comes straight out through the bottom. Make sure there is no power to the machine and unplug the motor leads, before removing it.
Your find that its just two screws at the back of the motor, that hold each brush in...

Hi i have a hoover washing machine hnf 6127 it functions perfectly but wont spin the drum goes round on the wash cycles but will not pick up speed on the spin i have checked the filter is not blocked

If it is not picking up speed on the spin cycle then it is the motor or the belt. check the belt first for proper tension and make sure the motor has the proper output. I think something is slipping and not transferring torque to the tub.

Ours did exactly the same. The drum bearing's worn and the spider had broken causing a noise like a road drill. Check out the video on Youtube from Apart4U. It's a pig of a job though.

Washing machine not washing or spinning

More than likely worn brushes in motor
Remove top cover, and slacken motor bolts holding motor at top right of washer. slide out carbon brush holders in motor, and replace if less than 3 or 4mm long.
This should solve the problem.

The machine wheel inside wont go round

I suggest that you remove the motor, and check the brushes in the motor.
If there is less than 3 or 4mm left, then replace them.

WFD 2460 will not start wash cycle after it has filled with water

Isolate power and water supply and gain access to the main drum motor. Check for condition of carbon brushes by removing them and repla
ce if severely worn. Check wiring loom around motor and right back to module controller. The clicking is obviously power being supplied to motor via the loom to the motor. finally check for any dry solder joints or burnt areas on the circuit board controlling the motor.
