I have lg rumor and it asks for passcode to use bluetooth..I tried 0000 and 9999..neither work.

passcode 0000 try that...it will work

You have to enable the Bluetooth device to scanning mode,
To do this, press and hold the power button of your bluetooth continously for 10 seconds, you may have a stable LED, this shows that its in discoverable mode,
Now perform scanning and you may get your device and you can pair and make it work with default passcode of 0000 or 1234 or 8888

Not sure if you have paired your bluetooth with your phone yet. Hold your bluetooth button down untell it flashes (usualy blue and red) continuously your phone should then find your bluetooth then it will ask for a code. Usualy the code is 0000. If not make sure your bluetooth is turned on:)

ur divice has a special type of bluetooth facility .Because of this u will not connect to some other devices.

Most cell phone bluetooth pass codes are either 0000 or 1234. Give these a try. Regards, Bill

when asked for passcode enter any code e.g. 12345 and enter thereafter it tries to connect to the other phone. Now the other phone will ask the code where you have to enter the same code, and voila! You"re paired.
Obviously bluetooth should be 'on' on both the phones.

When pairing two phones, you need to set up the connection on both phones. One will ask you to enter the password when you are creating the new connection, which you will then need to enter on the second phone to complete the connection. This ensures that only people you allow to connect (people you gave the code to) can connect to your device.
