Re: Hi there...

If the symptom is no sound,no pix--blinking LED, then C702 102K/2KV capacitor shorted and E994 pico fuse open might be problem. If so, consider replacing cap w/ 3KV for improved reliability.

I have a56 inch dlp samsung. It tries to power up but won't. No sound or picture. It retries to power up a couple of times but eventually shuts down. Anything to help would be appreciated.

I know that Samsung usually uses very cheap capasitors in the power supplies of these TV's check the circuit boards for bloated caps and replace them as needed then it should work fine after a little bit of maintenance. I have fixed numerous Samsung TV's and monitors and its always the capasitors

Mitsubishi 1080p it powers on and powers off after 1 minute

You could have some bad Capasitors on the Power Supply. But unit has had numorous issues with bad Capasitors throughout the Chassis. I would call a Factory Service Facility
that works on Mitsubishi to be sure.
Hope this helps,

TV is blank and status light is blinking yellow

I think you have a powersupply problem. This model has had alot of problems with bad electrolitic capasitors through out the entire chassi assy. Because of the way the manufacture designed this unit you may be better off getting a Mitsubishi Authorised service company to fix it. If you feel confedent,
check the powersuppy for 2 electrolitic capasitors that are bulging on the top. They will be your culpirts. I believe they will be 25v 2500uf. But don't hold me to it.
Hope this helps,

Rca tv won't power on

it may need a Flyback Transformer or a burnt capasitor and resistors. there are many posts with this same problem. Some a little different. Check the fuse just inside where the power supply cord goes in . if the fuse is blown you will have to find the reason it burned . But maybe you will be lucky and replace the fuse. And it will turn on. but I think that only a TV technician can fix the problem.I have a background on TV repair and I think it's the Flyback transformer. sometimes you canresolder them and they stay.
